I grew up in Canyon Country, California, and joined the Air Force at 17. Over five years I became a crew chief repairing F-16 fighter jets — work where every detail matters and nobody gets a second take. That same focus goes into every wedding I film.
After my honorable discharge I made Columbia, South Carolina home. Not long after, I met my wife, and today we're raising three wonderful kids here. When I'm not behind a camera, you'll find me cheering on the Dallas Cowboys — I'm a huge fan — or thinking a few moves ahead over a chessboard.
My first step into the wedding world was at my own wedding in 2012, through It Takes 2 Photo Booths. I'd been passionate about video since I was a teenager, so branching out into wedding films was a natural fit. In 2018 I launched Lumersive Studios for commercial video clients.
Since then we've filmed more than 200 weddings — and every one still gets the same attention as the first.
